I have over ten years of experience working as a producer on feature films, documentary, short films, advertising, and live event editing.
I can show you how to properly breakdown a scene through a shotlist, storyboarding, & outlining. I can provide insight on how to gain permissions and getting the proper paperwork needed to produce your projects.
I am formally trained to use Avid Media Composer, the entire Adobe Creative Suite, and Da Vinci Resolve. In addition, I am well-versed in Blender 3D and Cinema 4D. Expert experience in Sony cameras and UI. Deep knowledge of lens work.
In college, I took on the role of a mentor because I was one of few students that received certification in Avid Media Composer. In this role I served as a tutor and mentor for students struggling to learn Avid and the essentials to editing.
Upon graduation, I landed a job as a Video Producer for a local advertising company where I produced, directed and edited commercials. My job entailed me training new employees on our system and catch them up on editing and improve their workflow.
Currently, I work at a university as a Senior Video Producer where I produce videos for research grants and other video needs for the school. With my current position, I conduct research and tests to improve our organization and workflow for my fellow employees. read less
